The Story Model
1. Idea: What is your Idea for a story? Example: There is a underwater city full of mer-people
2. Why: Why are you writing this story? Example: To make people laugh
3. Hero: Who is the main character for your story? Example: Mike
4. Villain: Who is the bad guy of the story? Example: Peeple
4.5. (Optional) Villain's plan: What is the badguy's plan? Example: To pollute Meropolis's water with oil
5. Start: What happens to take the hero away from their normal? Example: A Zorb comes and announces the coming of Peeple
6. Lesson: What lesson will the hero learn? Example: You can be small but still make a big difference
7. Change: How will the hero show he learned his lesson? Example: Mike stops Peeple
8. BOOM!: What is the most exciting part of the story? (Usually near the end) Example: The battle with Peeple
9. Journey: What three (Or more) obstacles will the hero have to over come? Example: Get to safety, stop the drill, and stop Peeple
10. Write: Now you write the story!
